Your new company

Our client is the largest sports retailer in the world with over 100,00 employees on 5 continents. They have over 50 own-brands, each specialising in a specific sport from hiking, to sailing, to skiing, to tennis. They are now looking for an SEO Manager to join their digital marketing team. The right candidate should have a passion for all things sports and apply that energy and enthusiasm to the role!

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

* You'll be responsible for delivering the SEO strategy in the UK
* Driving organic customer acquisition and business growth
* Working with UX & website teams to improve technical foundations \/ website architecture

* Assisting with cohesive strategy creation and initiatives, reporting to the Head of Brand
* Supporting wider marketing and communication objectives
* Working with international technical teams to ensure best SEO practices are properly implemented and UK needs are prioritised on SEO roadmaps

* Measuring, reporting, and analysing ongoing projects and campaigns
* Researching and implementing recommendations for new SEO opportunities
* Competitive analysis and market research

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you MUST have all of the following requirements:

* Experience in the SEO industry for at least 3-5 years
* Excellent analytical, organisational and project management skills
* Experience with website migrations
* A talented communicator and enjoy sharing your successes with internal stakeholders

* Great attention to detail and time management skills
* Interested in sports and outdoor activities, passionate and, eager to learn
* You are fluent in English (native level)

The following roles are desirable but not essential:

* Experienced working with and manipulating large data sets (crawlers & log file analysis)

* Experience working with SEO \/ digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, OnCrawl, enterprise content management tools, Yext.)

* Experience working with CMS and building \/ administering content in CMS environment
* Knowledge of HTML\/CSS\/ JavaScript and website administration
* Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
