Technical Architect - Infrastructure\/Storage\/ICT (SC Cleared)

What you'll need to succeed

My client in the Public Sector is looking for an experienced Technical Architect with strong skills across Infrastructure, Storage and ICT environments, desirably across emergency organisations and SC Cleared.

The primary role of the Technical Architect is to design and govern information technology initiatives that underpin business operations, strategic projects \/ programmes and legislative changes.
You will provide a high quality, effective and timely Solution Architect services to the IT Division and client departments within the emergency organisation, together with the provision of accurate technical advice and guidance to support the delivery of the IT Roadmap and planned objectives.
You will have the ability to build strong and effective working relationships to support the organisation to deliver its ambitious programme of technology enabled change.

Skills\/Knowledge:

* Educated to Degree Level of equivalent in a relevant subject Qualified to the Open group Technical Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Accreditation
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of associated methodologies including ArchiMate, COBIT and IT4IT
* High level skills and ability in the use of IT architectural design methods to meet business critical service levels
* Ability to make a strong contribution to the development and improvement IT architectural solutions
* Certified to ITIL foundation
* Sound knowledge of National Security Services Systems desired
* Detailed knowledge of multiple technologies encompassing Infrastructure, Storage, Virtualisation, Microsoft Technology Stack, Network (WAN & LAN), Mobile, Security (end point, through to externally facing website, Firewall and gateway infrastructure).
* Sound understanding of, and capability to work within, relevant ICT related standards including HMG Security Policy Framework, IITIL V3, ISO\/IEC 38500, ISO\/IEC 27001, ISO\/IEC 22301, ISO\/IEC 20000, PRINCE2 and MSP

All successful candidates will go through one round of interviews, which will be conducted remotely.

Ideally candidates are available within 2-3 days to interview and have a relevant notice to start.
