My prestigious client is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their London Market Insurance Team.
The successful individual will be working on a range of projects as my client undertakes a digital transformation of the insurance market. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for translating the high-level vision of the company into business and functional specifications and work closely with the agile development teams in building strategic solutions. This role would suit someone who has both technical experience and Business Analysis experience, you MUST have London Market Insurance experience coupled with a cooperative approach to you work. The team are friendly with a 'hunger' to succussed. You will be supported along your journey, and you will be an integral part of the team.

Role:
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and user experience designs, applying best practices to define and document optimised user experience.
Conduct detailed data/business analysis on business processes and requirements, identify volumetric requirements for specific use cases, and produce high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and accessible to business and technical audiences.
Use data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
Use knowledge and understanding of how Risks are placed/processed in the London Market to assist with documenting data requirements and mapping to support integration design
Define realistic and testable functional and non-functional business requirements based on findings to achieve the appropriate project outcome
Write complex test case scenarios and testable user stories for digital applications, APIs, and messaging components to ensure that these can be estimated & delivered by the developers for their specific purpose
Work closely with third-party technical Developers to design API Contracts, Message Schemes, and physical data models.
Monitor/oversee the testing of business applications to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
Communicate between internal departments and external parties, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to convey requirements and support the organisation's needs.
Participate in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried through the entire project.
Understand and identify business value and continually communicate and advocate that view to ensure that the delivery is focused on business needs and delivers that value.

Skills and Experience:
Working understanding of London Market Insurance life cycle and business processes in a Technical Business Analyst capacity
Extensive Business Analysis skills including process mapping and business process reengineering
Experience in a number of the following areas: system implementations, change management, user testing management/best practice, training design, and delivery
Experience in the technical improvement of new platforms
Experience in working on a financial change program is highly desirable
Atlassian tools including Jira/Confluence
Experience with EDI Messaging Structure
Experience in working on complex projects dealing with several processes and applications
Business analysis qualifications would be beneficial
Strong communication and stakeholder management experience, as well as working with third-party vendors
Strong understanding of the technical challenges faced by a global business, able to understand IT analysis and risks in this business context
