Hays Technology is looking for a Trade Floor Application Support Analyst to provide level one and first-class customer support answering platform questions and resolving client issues related to trading matters and platform features.

What you will be doing: In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for Trading Support and Operational System Monitoring with emphasis on trading matter issue resolving; escalating technical issues where appropriate and root cause analysis.

This role is situated within an institutional exchange company founded in the US over 55 years ago. They have noticed a requirement for assistance in their Trade Floor Application Support team due to unparalleled growth.

What we are looking for:

* Minimum of 5 years working in trading environment customer facing support role. FX experience strongly preferred.
* Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and customer service skills.
* Vigorous desire to learn FX technology and to be an SME.
* Familiar with networking fundamentals and debugging tools (telnet, ping, traceroute, netstat and wireshark).
* Ability to work well in a dynamic team orientated environment.

Technical skills required:

* Windows\/Linux
* SQL
* Jira
* Familiar with FIX protocol and low latency trading systems
* Shell scripting experience
* Linux performance analysis
* Foreign language skills desired
