We are currently recruiting for aTrainee NewsReporterwithin our publication,Global Banking Regulation Review(GBRR)brand. Youll be writing news to an audience of legal professionalsworldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity to use and develop your journalismskills within an international organisation working on a global scale.

GBRRaims to be the indispensable source of news and insightfor the top rank of banking regulation professionals across the world in lawfirms, regulators and in-house at banks themselves.

Focusing on the wholesalebanking market, GBRR will cover prudential regulation, fintech, derivatives,bank corporate governance, misconduct and regulatory enforcement. Were lookingfor the human interest in the regulatory announcements, the stories in the data,and the trends in the stories.

What you would be doing:

We are looking for intellectually curious individuals who canresearch, report and write news, analysis, features and surveys. Relying oncourt documents, data, regulatory filings and source interviews to craftanalytical and timely news stories, youll be expected to learn to write in astyle and tone that cuts through jargon and spin to deliver accessible prose.

Working collaboratively as part of a tight knit team, you will provide accurateand timely news content on a daily basis and contribute to larger researchprojects and produce interviews and features under the direction of the Editor.

What we are looking for:

Minimum of a 2:1 degree
Postgraduate law or journalism degree ispreferable
Demonstrable interest in a career injournalism
Strong interest in current affairs, internationalbusiness and legal reporting
Excellent communication skills, both written andverbal
Able to provide a deep analysis and insight forour readership, with the ability to find original angles in stories
An international outlook
Legal knowledge is advantageous, but notmandatory
