ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER

Salary: £23,000 per annum + benefits

Contract length: Permanent

Location: Stratford w/ high-flex

Why we need you

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Accounts Payable Officer. We need you to complete our processing activities accurately and efficiently, ensuring that Internal Controls are adhered to and that Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and KPIs are achieved. Further to this, we need you to provide an excellent level of customer service to a number of internal and external stakeholders.

What will I be doing?

Make an impact every day by…

• Processing high volume Purchase Order and Non-PO invoice transactions, non-staff expenses and other applicable AP transactions in an accurate and timely manner
• Overseeing the invoice matching process and managing any mismatches or discrepancies
• Assisting with the opening and distribution of Accounts Payable mail, ensuring all relevant post received into the department is scanned in accordance with SLAs
• Appropriately dealing with supplier queries relating to invoices & payments
• Ensuring customers helpdesk calls are logged, responded to within the SLA and are effectively resolved.

What skills are you looking for?

You'll be able to bring to the role…

• Experience of being first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Accurate and efficient data entry with high attention to detail
• IT literate and experience of working with financial systems, with the ability to pick up processes / systems quickly
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail and effectively managing expectations
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and supplier management
• Experience of working in a customer facing role.
