More about the Role

We are now recruiting for DAFaid on behalf of the RAC. RAC are not only one of the country's largest providers of roadside assistance and motor-related services they also offer Customer Service solutions to motor manufacturers.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service to a high standard on a consistent basis, has exceptional communication skills and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

To play an important and integral role in the efficient day-to-day running of the department through the delivery of excellent customer service, and showing a desire to provide inspirational customer support whilst meeting customer demands. You will provide a responsive, consistent and high quality telephone service whilst working continually to improve the quality of service delivered.

Day to Day expectations

To handle all types of customer contacts, via phone, email etc

To provide answers to customers to their satisfaction to build loyalty to the brand.

Complaint handling to resolution.

Prioritise workload according to customer and business needs.

Engage and provide a first class customer experience.

Skills/Experience Needed

Customer focussed - first and foremost

Empathetic and understanding, able to put yourself in the customers position.

Articulate, able to persuade and communicate clearly

Problem solving within processes and guidelines

Organisation and prioritising work

A team player

Good writing skills

Previous call centre/customer service experience

Further Information

Hourly rate of £9.02 per hour

The working hours will fall between the times of 8am-6pm Monday to Friday

This is temp to perm: you will have a 6 month probation period, after which, you will be moved to a permanent contract (performance dependant)

Your will receive full training and will only go live after completing all training and inductions. You will also be part of a very knowledgeable and supportive team who will be there to help throughout your time in the role.
