Job description

We are looking for an API architect with strong knowledge in Layer 7. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in one or more enterprise integration tools such as Layer7, Apigee, MuleSoft, etc.
  • Experience in Agile delivery and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in software development life cycle, messaging patterns, endpoint security, interfaces with internal and external applications, and database knowledge

Layer 7 technology knowledge is very important to reduce the waste time.

The work in the Cloud transformation program focuses on the API project and delivering the following:

  • Simplify the current GAMS Architecture to have license available to launch the service in Azure.
  • Migrate current OCP3.4 platform to OCP 4.7 to simply the implementation inside Azure environment
  • Prepare the Azure environment through OpenShift to install GAMS Platform (if we have time, otherwise it should move to 2022)
  • Make the assessment and implement Layer 7 in China Tencent or On-premises

Role requirements:

  • the primary responsibility of design API Platform from scratch and contribute to set of services and associated technologies in the organization, as well as following the related application portfolio roadmap.
  • Participate in projects to understand the customers' needs and implementation of high-performance application services and solutions such as, architecture improvement, development if it requires applying best practices.
  • Clear understanding in Layer 7 Platform solution
  • Deep understanding of a micro-services architecture with demonstrable experience in the design, build, and operations of micro services in a production environment
  • Applications frameworks such as Ruby, Phyton, JAVA, Asp.NET, etc
  • Work and collaborate with API Management team providing clear solution and hands-on actions
  • Propose improvement to all team and approve before implementation.
  • Facilitate the transfer of knowhow, experiences, and good practices within the API Team.
  • Support the customers' success and dare to bring new innovative ideas.
  • Experience in Agile delivery and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Consulted on application projects that may require complex architecture or driving changes onto the services.
  • Provide consulting to customers on business systems' development aligned with API Team, and guide others through complex projects and/or assignments
