We are currently working on a wide variety of assignments that include some major Digital Transformation initiatives, Regulatory and Compliance Programmes and Tools adoption projects where we are providing specialist technical and business services to a client base of primarily Tier 1 Banks.

You will have the confidence and the capability to step straight into a specialist consultancy role within one of MHC's Practice areas to provide effective and efficient solutions that support our Clients' business requirements, while working constructively with senior MHC and Client managers and other staff.

Job purpose:

• This role will be responsible for supporting one or multiple IT Application(s) through the Banks Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
• This role will support the Product Manager with any development or IT delivery queries relating to the IT Application (s) in question. (ie the application(s), its functionality and how it's used in the Bank.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise input to any Projects needing to utilise the IT Application(s), providing effort analysis/impact of change.
• Complete development or any configuration changes which cannot be performed by the Business and work with the Product Manager to co-ordinate activity for any defect/incident tickets raised by the Bank.
• Hands on technical position in a busy development team.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Adapt and develop internal IT Application Development capabilities within the Surround Applications Team.
• This role will be responsible for supporting IT Application(s), providing Subject Matter Expertise input to the Change Community.
• The Application Technical Analysts will be responsible for delivering best in class IT change, using the IT delivery Change methodology.
• Providing effort analysis/impact of change, as well as testing approach.
• Complete development or any configuration changes which cannot be performed by the Business and work with the Product Manager to co-ordinate activity for any defect/incident tickets raised by the Bank.
• You will develop an understanding of the business needs and requirements as well as function
• Technical specialist working in Financial Institutions ideally the UK banking sector
• Working with the business analysts to develop effective business processes to accompany large scale application changes
• Evidence of comfort with technology concepts and solutions across the spectrum of deliver
• Evidence of a well-developed ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats at all levels within the organization and with 3rd party suppliers
• Strong knowledge within the Product Domain and underlying technologies
• Experience with Agile disciplines
