Home based - UK
£85K - £110K + package

A global organisation specialising in building services are looking for an Applications Director to join them on a permanent basis. You will be expected to manage Customer Project Centre covering UK & Ireland for their Digital Buildings business. You will be responsible for P&L for these projects improving profitability and customer satisfaction, and for all the transformations throughout the customer project community in the Zone.

Your Responsibilities:

Drive tendering and execution teams in order to meet targeted results for Digital Buildings customer project business
Complete all activities associated with delivering the targeted results including forecasting, business planning, recruitment, monthly reporting etc.
Run the GM improvement plans
Work as part of the country management teams to ensure delivery of results
Contribute to the country strategy for Digital Buildings led by the country VP
Oversees the analysis of business results, directing corrective action, and reviewing processes to identify improvements within his/her perimeter.
Manage budgets and forecasts in coordination with the Finance BP
Implement operational KPIs to drive performance
Functionally manage other contributing team for the project execution such as Contract management, purchasing, finance controller, FSR
Communicate priorities throughout the organisation to ensure alignment
Manage transformations associated to customer projects within the zone community
Ensure that Project Management and Engineering Development programmes are implemented and followed, and accreditation of Project Managers is achieved at the appropriate levels
Define and manage resource and development plans in accordance with business expectations ensuring a high engagement level for the team
Define and manage communities of practices ensuring best practices and expertise sharing
Ensure strong collaboration with key stakeholders from Countries, Zone, Region, Segments, Businesses and Global Strategic Account teams.
Work closely with the Country VP and Business Finance Partner for Digital Buildings Businesses to bring about a sustainable improvement in systems GM%.
Collaborate closely with the country execution Leaders in the zone to ensure best practice sharing is optimised
Ensure that the implementation of project governance model is active and followed and that proper portfolio reviews and project reviews are carried out within the organisation using global and local to get the highest efficiency
Ensure best practices and associated coaching are in place in each project in order to control their execution

About you:

PMI qualification or equivalent project management experience
Proven previous experience in Customer Project business in a People Management role and significant experience in UK construction industry with customer network
Effective communicator (verbal and written), coach and team builder
Proven ability to influence and convince in the matrix organization
Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented, self-motivated, and results driven.
Proven track record of building relationships and driving collaboration across regions
Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a must
Hold a full driving license
