Behaviour/Learning Mentor - Ealing

£85-£110 PAYE Only

I am working with an Independent Specialist School in Ealing who are looking for positive and adaptable Behaviour/Learning Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This role requires someone who can react quickly and effectively to challenges whilst maintaining an optimistic attitude.

Independent Specialist Day School

    A very challenging behaviour based setting with students that require mentoring, emotional regulation and nurturing A school for Key stage 2 - Key stage 5 students who are unable to access mainstream education due to their additional needs All students have an EHCP -SEMH, ASC and Challenging Behaviours The school hours are 8:30-4pm (Mon-Fri) individualised programmes for every child, which support their transition into the school environment
Expectations - Behaviour/Learning Mentor

    Working to ensure all students receive an inclusive education through the use of state of the art facilities such as, a large number of specialist classrooms including an art, counselling and therapy room, an internal learning support unit called 'Nurture', a food technology kitchen and a large gym/assembly hall A highly suitable role for someone with a creative background or anyone wanting a change with new challenges Have the ability to make a huge social impact, as a Behaviour Mentor you could change the path of someone's life! To work closely with Multi-disciplinary therapy teams A long term contract, working for the whole academic year with the prospects of becoming a permanent member of staff
The Ideal Candidate - Behaviour/Learning Mentor

    Experience working with children and young people with SEMH, ASC and Challenging behaviour is desirable Excellent and proven behaviour management skills Have a genuine desire to build a career around Special Educational Needs! Positive and able to react to challenges quickly and effectively whilst maintaining an optimistic mindset Be able to build strong and trusting relationships with both staff and students
Pay

    Long-term contracts are available for those who are looking for immediate work. We understand that pay is extremely important and it must be clear and simple! For that reason we have chosen to pay our staff via PAYE only. Quoted rates are gross pay and your pay will never involve employer's NI deductions or admin fees Just as roles vary, so will the remuneration depending on the role requirements and your experience. You will often see these roles advertised as daily rates, please note that we pay PAYE only, please bear in mind that all school based work will be term time only Again, we are happy to help you with any rates queries, just ask us!
