Working in collaboration, you will be involved in delivery assessment, driving simplification, analysing inefficient processes and designing revised/new processes. You will also focus on gathering requirements and aligning and assessing against supplier proposal, across products to improve overall product/service efficiency for our customers and the Group.Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contractKey AccountabilitiesSupport and keep alignment with Lead Business AnalystPlan and Define Scope and Business Requirements gatheringDeliver detailed process, organisation, and informationRecommend solutions to enhance product/service efficiencies and quality.Review planned initiatives and system changes to identify and advise on optimal product processes (process reengineering).Assist the Lead Business Analyst in determining the organisational impact of potential process changes.Detail the expected impacts of any business or technology change on the existing systems, operations, organisation, operating model and end-to-end processesConduct sessions to analyse and understand current processes, critical to quality requirements and optimal end state.What is the opportunity?Working at Bank of Ireland doesn't have to mean working in an office to have an impact. Exact frequency and location to be agreed with manager.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst within financial servicesBe business focussed with experience across Financial Retail Product setsHave sound technical/ technology project experience in a Business environmentProven experience of Lean Methodologies/ Kaizen events/Six Sigma with proven track record on deliveryGood influencing skillsExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products ( Excel in particular) and VISIOBasic financial analysis skillsGood analytical, problem solving, and solution design (grounded in Design Thinking & Customer Centric approach) skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsInnovative thinker and agile mind-setKey CompetenciesCustomer Focused - SelfAgile - SelfChampion Transformation - SelfManage Risk - SelfOne Group, one team - SelfWhere Agency assistance is required Bank of Ireland Recruitment Team will engage directly with suppliers.
