About the Team
The People Technologies and Transformation team support the delivery of the firmwide strategy and align with the firmwide transformation agenda; bringing together business understanding, human insight and innovative technology to meet the business's changing needs and expectations. They drive the benefits of transformation to enhance our people experience through: strategic use of people technologies; simplified and consistent policies and processes; alternative delivery models; and innovative data analytics and insights.
This role is reporting into the Workforce of the Future Technology and Transformation team and has close working relationships with the Alternate Delivery Model (ADM) Transformation sub team
About the Role
This Business Analyst position is a unique role in that it sits within our Workforce of the future arm where we manage all technologies that support our Recruitment function and feeds into the wider Workday Business Analyst team who act as the subject matter experts on specific areas within Workday.
The Workday Recruiting BA has the responsibility of leading on the Recruiting module within Workday. This includes (but is not limited to)managing relationships with a number of assessment providers and/ or the relevant Product Managers, our CRM and our HRM modules. Alongside ensuring service is maintained by the global teams, the BA will be responsible for overseeing enhancements to the product, design and testing and communicating with stakeholders. The successful candidate will have to work closely with the wider WotF team, our other vendor product leads, internal support teams and our end user stakeholder groups. You will also facilitate the Global Application Management Support (AMS) team and client facing Workday consultants to ensure the smooth delivery of these projects.
Alongside this, the successful candidate is expected to drive transformation in this area - simplifying Workday processes and ensuring all new Workday functionality is explored and delivered in a consultative manner.
Core responsibilities:
Relationship Management
Develop strong relationships and engage with senior stakeholders, SME's, other Business Analysts, wider People and technical teams
Representation at Network & Global user groups
Work with stakeholders to support the creation of business cases (Change requests), documenting business requirements and design process maps
Management Enhancement requirements, raising through relevant channels to own and drive the change.
Ensure communication across the wider team and with stakeholder groups.
Consultancy
Support impact analysis, resolution of issues and queries
Support and act as an SME for transformation and change projects, design and implementation of new systems
Work with People and Network Teams to recommend enhancements to technologies and functionality as well as research new technologies that can best support People Teams and the business
Policy, Process and Compliance
Proactively drive continuous improvement and simplification
Create and embed best practice in using new technologies and people systems
Maintenance, configuration requirements and governance of HC people technology systems and process
Ensure process documentation is up to date and maintained
Project management
Responsible for defining test scope and coordination of testing - including timeframes, required resources, system access, identifying and managing dependencies, test data and test scenario and execution of UAT
Ensure any changes to technology support or enhance operational teams
Essential skills:
Workday systems knowledge and understanding
Technical background - this role would suit someone who has an IT background
Experience in system design, implementation and continuous management
Experience in managing numerous projects that have been delivered on time, meeting business requirements, with high customer and team satisfaction and have involved working across dispersed teams
Ability to quickly establish credibility and influence within dynamic business groups
Awareness of system design and change management impacts on systems, and integrated systems/landscape
Proactive in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk
Strong negotiation skills and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, as well as with 3rd parties
Solution Mindset and ability to respond at pace.
Flexible and able to cope with change and uncertainty.
