Job description
Would you like to be part of a team that provides administrative support to our Building Services within our Compliance Department for Wales's largest Housing Association?

We have a Business Support opportunity available which will provide a high standard of administration and co-ordination to the Service Contract Building Services Team.
This is an exciting chance to join a team looking after Contracts, KPI's, Servicing, Maintenance, Repairs and more which provides an exciting and varied role.

We are offering a temporary position (12 months) for 24 hours per week.
You will be predominately based at home for the foreseeable future but may be required to travel to our Newport & Swansea offices occasionally.

The role:
Your role will involve:
* Reconciling financial aspects of the team's transactions to ensure that suppliers and contractors are paid on time and accurately and ensure that all goods and services are received in a timely manner.
* Liaising with residents to ensure excellent customer service at all times.
* Administering and processing all safety elements of the process to ensure compliance within the organisation against the audit criteria.
* Re-scheduling work and negotiating with relevant stakeholders including, customers, suppliers and other colleagues within the company.
* Providing information to contractors and to POBL colleagues about our asset maintenance.

You will;
* Have experience of working within a busy office environment and providing effective administrative and service support
* Be self-motivated with an ability to work on own initiative and solve problems
* Have experience of IT to include Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook in an office environment
* Possess excellent Data Processing skills
* Have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop productive and effective working relationships
* Have a highly organised approach and eye for detail
* Be able to work under pressure in a busy environment
