Our lovely GP practice in Croydon is looking for a new Clinical Coder to join their bustling surgery on a permanent, full-time basis.

The team would love the successful applicant to have experience but this can be in primary care and secondary care - as long as you can code!

They want someone who is efficient, motivated and hard-working and who can action instructions without guidance - you must be autonomous in your role and able to work closely with the other admin staff to a mutual goal. Working in a self sufficient way is essential and an interest in building a strong team would be preferred as you'll be the initial member of a small coding/summarising team, as part of the centres long term goal.

You'll be expected to work in a diverse and friendly team who all bring their own something to the Reception team - you'll be encouraged to be yourself and to help their practice navigate through the ever changing face of primary care. The role is varied and requires significant experience, excellent prioritisation and time management skills and a positive attitude towards work.

The role is fast paced so you must be good under pressure and be able to think on your feet.
