Salary: £45,024 to £50,806 per annum (inclusive of HCA)

We're looking for compassionate nurses to join our team on a 15-month basis to cover maternity leave. Whether you're a registered nurse with experience in end of life care or a nurse who would like to develop your career in palliative care, we might just have the opportunity for you.

St Christopher's Hospice was founded in 1967 by Dame Cicely Saunders and formed part of the modern hospice movement. Proudly celebrating over 50 years and with a turnover of over £20 million, we provide invaluable care and support to over 7,500 people across the five London Boroughs of Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.

Your new role

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will offer the patients and families your skills in symptom control, social, emotional and spiritual care, in addition to providing advice, support and education to the primary health care team and hospital staff where appropriate, as part of an interdisciplinary team.

To succeed in this role

You will be a compassionate nurse with excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a disciplinary team. You will have proven experience in palliative care/oncology with relevant qualifications and experience of working at Band 6/equivalent or above.
