As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and advise on high value, strategically important and multi disciplined projects within a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will join our Consulting Commercial Team, focusing on the delivery of our strategic, complex client engagements from a commercial lens. They will use their knowledge and past experience to increase the commercial acumen of the business and optimise the commercial outcome of our engagements by minimising profit leakage.

The Role:

Working with client delivery teams to drive and influence the inflight commercials on engagements, providing commercial insight and best practice. Promote the use of our commercial tools to optimise the commercial outcome, drive the profitability of the business and to aid decision making.

The individual:

Have a strong level of commercial acumen with a keen eye for detail. Have experience in leveraging insights to identify and help shape commercial strategies that will lead to optimising profitability. A strong coaching skillset to ensure client teams have a solid understanding of how their decisions impact profitability.


Essential Requirements:

  • Have the ability and be comfortable working in a fast moving environment

  • Strong financial, business and commercial acumen with stakeholder engagement and management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in an innovative environment and solving problems

  • Presents and communicates clearly, concisely and persuasively through both verbal and written forms

  • Ability to challenge others to mitigate ill-advised commercial decisions

  • Flexible to meet changing needs, with proven leadership and coaching skills

  • Drives interactions that quickly build trust

Desired Requirements

  • A solid background in commercial and a project management, understanding of finance principles and project delivery lifecycles

  • Able to analyse and interpret complex data to provide useful insights that provide opportunities for improvement

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders by applying a robust commercial lens, analysing detail and articulating these effectively
