Job description

Lead and manage ongoing, effective change programmes across different areas of the business.
Translate a set of business problem statements into a defined vision, mission and set of strategic objectives for the programmes they lead, linking goals and target benefits clearly to the business strategy.
Build realistic financial business cases to evaluate return on investment for overall programmes and their component projects and workstreams. Support with stretching but achievable benefit realisation plans.
Re-forecast programme financials each month to report on latest projections.
Engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the business to a stakeholder plan to gain support for changes and ensure business needs are met.
Ensure that outcomes are delivered in line with business case and plans, making & seeking decisions in a timely manner to facilitate this.
Manage, influence, collaborate with and constructively challenge when needed contributary functions of programme delivery, such as technology teams, people teams, finance etc.
Lead and motivate programme teams, ensuring that the right resource is planned and requested at the right times.
Able to leverage both Waterfall and Agile based planning and delivery approaches.
Embody the company values in the approach and behaviours of the programme.
Manage components of the Programme Governance and reporting, giving confidence to key stakeholders.
Closely manage the scope of the programme at detailed level.
Determine & capture risks, ensuring there is a strong mitigation plan to proactively manage risks.
Manage the process of resolving issues when they arise, while maintaining a positive approach.
Work with Change Managers to work to an internal communication and engagement plan and programme 'tone of voice', ensuring it is delivered effectively and consistently.
Monitor dependency activity across the business and surface concerns and plan mitigations.
Design and implement the mechanisms by which benefits can be delivered, measured and reported. Manage the activities associated with benefits realisation, ensuring that continued accrual of benefits can be achieved and measured after the programme has been completed.
Manage relationships and agreements with the programme 3rd party partners where applicable, ensuring that they are meeting the objectives and obligations of agreements in place, establishing a mechanism to ensure regular dialogue with contractors to promote problem solving, team working and risk sharing.
