Job description

Careersolve are working with a client who are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team based in County Durham. My client offers a generous salary, depending on experience.

This is a permanent role and will initially be hybrid working, split between time in the office and working from home. It's full time, Monday to Friday and 40 hours per week. The hours are 8.30 am to 5.00 pm but could involve some evening work.

The Customer Service Advisor works closely with the sales teams as well as the wider B2B Customer Service Team to support their clients, help drive sales, provide excellent service, and create brand satisfaction

The Main responsibilities the Customer Service Advisor:

• Liaising with customers and staff via phone, email, Teams and face to face (where applicable)

Processing Orders

• Providing excellent service to the sales teams and retailers. Dealing with and resolving customer queries in a timely manner, involving colleagues where needed

• Using systems such as AX,

• Work closely with the warehouse to ensure orders go out to customers in time and reduce cancellation risk, coordinate customer deliveries, arrange collection of return goods and make sure returns are processed in a timely manner

• Review order books ahead of each season and reconcile with availability where discrepancies occur. Ensure the Sales Order Book report is kept up to date and flag any issues, as well as action any points that arise from regular meetings.

• Ensuring orders are entered accurately and timely, and any deadlines are adhered to

• Complete information requests from customers and/or sales managers as requested (including, but not limited to pre-season product information and open order details)

• Helping out with ad hoc projects as required

Essential Skills of the Customer Service Advisor:

• 2+ years in B2B customer service role

Good Excel

• Minimum C grade at A-Level Maths and English

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent organizational skills, customer service skills as well as honesty, integrity and professionalism

• Ability to follow issues through to resolution, multi-task and prioritise as required

• Computer literate and demonstrable proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and experience with use of different IT systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
