Job description

Customer Service Manager
A successful and growing manufacturing company based in Telford is looking for permanent Customer Service Manager.

The role will be to manage the customer service team, making sure that service standards are being met and problems are resolved. The successful candidate will find ways to measure customer satisfaction and improve services.

Responsibilities:
Managing the customer service team and supporting the team in all day-to-day activities
Ensuring good customer relations are maintained with our customer base both internally and externally
Ensuring clear and regular communication channels within your team and conduct regular meetings with the team
Recruitment and ongoing performance and appraisals of your team members
Monitoring team members training needs and ensuring training and development plans are up to date and in place for team members
Ensuring your team process orders/samples from customers and checking against the order rules/notes
Dealing with customer and Sales Manager enquiries and queries over the phone and e-mail.
Conducting delivery anomaly investigations and raising the appropriate credit note paperwork
Arranging Collections and urgent deliveries
Liaison with multi sites and customer base.
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and or experience:
Previous Customer Service experience at least at supervisory team leader level
Good leadership skills and delegation abilities
The ability to manage own workload, multitasking skills
An excellent telephone manner, good communication skills,
Able to work as a team, ability to work in fast-paced environment, ability to work under pressure.
Have good attention for detail, be a fast learner, with an engaging personality, and be able to multi-task and prioritise your workload.
You must be computer literate with experienced at using all Microsoft applications
A background in manufacturing would be preferable but not essential.

This is a full time role, office based and working hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm

In return you will be paid a salary of £30k per annum
