Job description

Kindertons Accident Management, part of Examworks UK are looking to recruit a Depot Support Operative.
The overall purpose of this position is to ensure the safe delivery of Kindertons fleet to the
customer in a timely and efficient manner, working within set time frames. Offering a high
standard of customer service to clients in relation to their road traffic accident claim.
Main Responsibilities:

* Assisting in the preparation of hire fleet vehicles to a high standard for delivery to customers, adhering to the relevant procedures and completing all required documents.

* Assisting in the cleaning of vehicles both inside and out to a high standard, as and when

* required.

* Ensuring that vehicles required for the following days deliveries are accounted for and prepared.

* Ensuring that the depot parking area always remains organised, allocating vehicles to areas as directed by depot management.

* Preparation of the yard for easy access for collection of vehicles by salvage agents or other Kindertons employees when appropriate.

* Assist in the photographing of damaged fleet vehicles and taking for estimation to the designated fleet repairer in line with standard operation procedures.

* Assisting in deliveries, collections or vehicles swaps as and when required by depot management.

* Working as part of a team, attending team meetings and contributing where appropriate.

* Understand and embrace the concept of 'empowerment' and be willing to make decisions without referral that fall within agreed parameters.

* Agree with depot management any change to processes that enhances performance.

* Managing a high workload whilst remaining organised.

* Managing difficult situations whilst remaining professional always.

* Constantly maintain and work towards improving our quality of service.

* Supporting depot management with monthly stock takes of valeting materials, chemicals, and equipment.

* Keeping vehicle manoeuvring areas clear of debris, and organising parking areas to maximise space.

* Any other duties reasonably requested by line manager.

Knowledge Experience

* An understanding of the Highway Code.

* Must hold a full Driving license for at least two years.

If the license holds three points or more - The individual must be prepared to declare this information and details of the points at interview stage.
Skills\\Abilities Personal qualities/Other

* Able to multitask and reprioritise throughout the day to complete the daily car deliveries to various locations.

* Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.

* Comfortable and able to work towards targets.

* Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks, working within set time frames.

* Confident and Personable- to ensure that we offer the very best level of service to every client we engage with

* Energetic with a positive outlook to a changeable and high-pressured environment.

* A team player with genuine interest in building lasting relationships with peers and managers.

This will be a 5 working day role with alternating shift as below.
Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
