As our Development Team Leader you will play a key part in pushing the boundaries of new technologies, along with choosing the most appropriate solutions for delivering our software!Does this sound like you?Are you a strong passion for technology and a desire to deliver top quality code?Are you highly organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload and delegate efficiently?Do you have a logical, sensible approach to issues?The Role and ResponsibilitiesWorking within an Agile Development Team primarily utilising the Scrum frameworkLeading and managing two teams of Software and Senior Software Engineers through performing appraisals, monitoring performance and identifying any training needs for the teamsImplementing new features across the Ideagen Products using .NET, Java and open source technologiesWorking closely with R&I Team, Development Manager, Team Leaders, Principal Developers and Senior Software Engineers to build well architected Cloud hosted solutionsContributing towards the defining and developing of a Sprint backlog to achieve the goals set out by our Product teamCollaborating with the Product Design Team to create an optimal user experienceWorking across the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring that our products are delivered to a published roadmap within planned release cyclesKnowledge & ExperienceExperience leading a development teamExperience of developing an enterprise solution using either .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, REST API, C#, or JavaAdvanced database knowledge in MySQL and MSSQL.Experience in Redis, Swagger, ReactJSExperience with build process, continuous integration, and delivery (Jenkins).Knowledge in software architecture, design patterns and microservices architecture.Added BonusesBasic understanding of UX / DesignBasic knowledge in using DockerBasic knowledge in using LinuxBasic Knowledge in KubernetesWhat's in it for you?While we take our work and deliverables seriously, we have a relaxed working environment and we want our people to be rewarded for their hard work.
