Role Summary:

The Global Marketing Organization (GMO) creates relevance, distinctiveness and growth for the PwC brand and business. We work together with the global markets and territory marketing leaders to deliver the go-to-market priorities that are aligned to Platforms, and enable sales and marketing excellence across the network.

The Digital Presence Centre of Expertise is a global team, accountable for developing the network strategy for pwc.com, driving the innovation and investment roadmap for the website, and creating a seamless and personalised experience by leveraging PwC's MarTech stack.

As the Data Governance and Management Senior Manager, this position will collaborate with PwC territories, IT and legal to manage and mitigate digital, cyber and reputational risk to the network and define the data management frameworks that govern PwC's digital presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development, implementation and management of a data governance framework at an enterprise level;
  • Creating a data roadmap for the network and work with different parts of the business to drive execution;
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory data management obligations across multiple geographies, including the European Union (GDPR);
  • Managing digital, cyber and reputational risk, ideally in a global B2B or services context;
  • Understanding of and interest in emerging techniques for improving data governance practices;
  • Creating effective guidelines, communications and knowledge management strategies and content to onboard and train territories on baseline practice data management, governance policies and practices;
  • Understanding of emerging techniques for improving data governance practices;
  • Engaging senior business leaders in establishing ownership/ accountability, securing funding and committing resources to prioritise data management, resolve data quality issues and meet legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Tailoring technical content to non-technical audiences;
  • Building and managing relationships across the other global marketing teams and across the business; and,
  • Navigating complex situations while applying firm policies and procedures to enable compliance across the network.

Preferred Experience:

  • Working with marketing automation systems (Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Suite);
  • Working experience across marketing and sales capabilities, including sales, marketing, brand and strategic marketing in a B2B context; and,
  • Driving difficult conversations with senior business stakeholders and being confident in saying no to all levels of the organization when necessary by relating strategy to difficult decisions.
