Job description

PwC is looking for a "Digital Marketing Senior Associate, Paid Media" to join our Digital Marketing Team. The Digital team seeks to create compelling digital experiences for our clients across channels, leads the firm in the development of digital marketing strategies in support of its business objectives and uses the right tools and technologies to support our ambitions.

The Digital Marketing team collaborates with the business and the wider Sales and Marketing function including teams such as brand, design, content development and campaign management to shape the right approaches. It also works closely with a small group of digital agencies and suppliers - for Paid media this includes a media planning and buying agency and working directly with/on platforms like LinkedIn.

It's an exciting opportunity and this role will specialise in Paid media across paid social, PPC, display and programmatic advertising and affiliate marketing etc and will report to the "Paid Media Manager".

Sales and Marketing is a centralised support function and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for the function is to support the development and implementation of the firm's market strategy and in particular to deliver:

The Role

The "Digital Marketing Senior Associate, Paid Media" will be responsible for:

  • Executing paid media for digital marketing campaigns (newly launched and 'always-on'), setting-up and co-ordinating digital media assets (working with creative and content specialists) and building digital campaigns across paid channels
  • Delivering paid social media activity across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook etc. [Instagram and YouTube and Spotify?]
  • Delivering paid activity across Google AdWords/PPC, display and programmatic advertising, affiliate marketing, working with our paid media agency, paid social accounts, and working alongside our digital and wider Marketing teams
  • Supporting the "Paid Media Manager" in the development of the paid media channel/s strategy, best practice and processes
  • Supporting the "Paid Media Manager" working alongside the other digital channel colleagues (e.g. organic social) to ensure channels are integrated
  • Keeping abreast of paid media trends, legislative developments and opportunities/innovations (for example the phasing out of third party cookies and its impact on digital advertising)
  • Reporting on the performance and ROI of the paid media aspects of our digital campaigns using data from our paid media agency and paid media platforms
  • Helping to manage the paid media campaign budgets and centralised paid media budgets
  • Supporting the sharing of paid media best practices across the team and wider function and helping produce training materials and deliver advice and training.

Key capabilities the individual would need include:

  • A passion for and prior experience of paid media and its place within digital marketing and a curiosity to learn new things and challenge ways of working
  • A mind-set which demonstrates a comfort with testing, learning and optimising
  • Experience in paid social media including Twitter and Linkedin
  • Experience in display and programmatic advertising and PPC would be advantageous
  • Experience of measuring and analysing channel performance data
  • Experience in delivering against tight deadlines and executing multiple paid media campaigns under pressure
  • Clear communication and relationship-building skills to aid working with different teams and agencies
  • Experience of working in complex, matrix organisations would be helpful.
