Job description

Learn about other people's stories and pick up great advice to help you build your own career.

At EY, no question is too small, too ambitious or too imaginative. We use our curiosity to ask better questions, that inspire better answers. That's how we build a better working world.

To explore new and better avenues of possibilities, we listen to different voices that will challenge our thinking. At EY, we're committed to building a culture of belonging. We live in a diverse world and we believe the world we work in should reflect this. That's why we've created programmes like this, to ensure everyone is made aware of what we do and given an equal opportunity to work with us. We're aiming to double the proportion of female and ethnic minority talent in the UK partnership by July 2025, with a strong commitment to also increase our Black Partner talent.

What will you be doing?

Through interactive workshops, case studies and networking sessions, you'll meet inspiring people and learn lots about what we do - and about yourself. You could even get fast-tracked onto one of our internship or graduate programmes for 2023.

Are you eligible to apply?

This event is aimed at raising awareness with students from black heritage and you will need to be in your first year at university, (or second year on a four-year course) or penultimate year of university.

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don't screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honour's degree in any subject - some programmes will require a subject relevant to the business area, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent).

The event will be held virtually, and the Student Talent Attraction and Acquisition team will provide all the information you need before you join. You must currently be studying at a UK university and in the UK at the time of the event.

"The conversations we had with different black professionals was a highlight for me. It was nothing but honest and genuine, which showed me how important diversity and equal opportunity is to the firm." Iyiola, Discover EY - Black Heritage in Business
