*Purpose of the Role/Role Overview*:
The Team Manager will play a pivotal role in Providor's Smart Metering operation, to provide exemplary performance managing and coaching teams of engineers lead by a Team Leader in delivering a first class customer service, to increase the profitability of the business whilst remaining committed to treating customers fairly and professionally
*General Duties/Key Responsibilities: *
The Team Manager will hold performance responsibility of their teams to maintain the highest performance possible. To achieve this aim, the following accountabilities will be the focus of the Team Manger role:
* The Team Manager will coach and develop their Team Leaders to improve their team's performance in all areas including, Safety, Technical Knowledge, Customer Service, Productivity
* The Team Manager will monitor and evaluate coaching logs to ensure an accurate record of their engineer's activities and performance, and deal with issues fed back from their Team Leaders. Advising and actioning improvement measures
* Complete field visits to measure high compliance to the business's Safety and Data requirements
* The Team Manager will carry out One to One Coaching Visits with their Team Leaders, ensuring that their team are efficient and safe in all working practices.
* The Team Manager will maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders such as, Planning & Training Centre, HR and Supply Chain.
* The Team Manager will support the National Operations Manager/Operations Director with building relationships and to welcome the new Team Member, Engineers into their team. Support the Team Leader in mentoring the new Engineer through the process through to full qualification
* The Team Manager will be responsible for providing accurate reports on any incident or accidents within their teams installations, feeding back and liaising with the compliance team.
* Within their designated area, The Team Manager is responsible for target delivery of installs, Health and Safety, headcount, and any other aspects of delivery, supporting their Region.
* Understand the health, safety, environmental & associated legal requirements that are relevant to the work and ensure the team complies with these. Help the team to understand and actively promote issues regarding health, safety & the environment
* This role is supportive to the National Operations Manager and colleagues, and may require deputising for them in their absence. They will actively work with all aspects of the business to support, coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service and meet all targets set by the business.
* Manages relationships by acting with integrity and communicating clearly. Builds rapport with a diverse range of people from across the field and office, demonstrating diplomacy in conflict situations. Actively encourages others to participate in team activities and supports other individuals in the team
