eCommerce Manager

37.5 hours per week

£22,000 - £24,000 pa

Royal Armouries Trading and Enterprises (RATE) is the commercial arm of the Royal Armouries Museum, the National Museum of Arms and Armour. RATE plays a crucial role in supporting the museum with its income generation activity.

We are investing in our digital businesses and IP management and want you to join us. We are seeking talented people with backgrounds in IP management, Design, Film Photography a media creation, Licensing, Image and Film Libraries, SEO and e-business development.

You have demonstrable experience in SEO and SEM and metadata/ image keywording. You are required to work across all of our commercial businesses including our consumer facing online shop and our business facing online picture library and venue hire sites. You know your tech but you also know business and want ownership of an end to end process including fulfillment and logistics. Working with commercial managers, marketing and digital colleagues in the content team, you will focus on regularly updating and optimising our commercial sites to deliver growth targets.

In addition to your talent and expertise in your area we are looking for people who share the attitudes of this team. A passionate focus on meeting customer need for both internal service to museums colleagues and external customers. A target focused mindset and an innovative problem solving approach. A passion for creating and delivering the best content for our audiences that expands our brand's reach and drives profitable growth to reinvest in the museum.

This is a Full time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. (Work from home with a "link site" of any our 3 sites. London, Leeds, Portsmouth) Weekend, Bank Holiday and evening working may be required.
