£38,000 - £42,000 + Progression + Training + Holiday + Pension + Staff Discount

Are you a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to take the next step in your career into management?

Do you want to work for a well-established company who will support you by providing training on necessary management skills?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity for career progression, an ideal first step into management: you'd be working alongside and overseeing a small team of 3 engineers.

In this role, you will be working on the tools 80% of the time, guiding your team of engineers to ensure projects get completed on time. The remainder of your time will be spent liaising with suppliers, auditing and planning.

This manufacturing company has been running for nearly 30 years, with many branches across the UK, there it plenty of room for further progression, as the company is always steadily growing.

This is an excellent chance to be trained on managerial skills, without coming completely away from the hands on job itself, this is not an office based manager job!

The ideal candidate will have experience doing Electrical maintenance work; mechanical and heavy machinery experience would be a bonus.

THE ROLE:

*Shift pattern:

- week 1 - Mon-Fri 06:00-15:30
- week 2 - Mon-Thu 08:30-18:00, Fri 06:00-15:30

*Managing a small team of engineers - Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on heavy machinery

THE PERSON:

*Electrical maintenance experience

*Looking for on tools manager position

*Commutable to Newport, South Wales
