Job description

A leading disability charity is looking to recruit an E-Learning Platform Manager. This is an exciting newly funded role to join the Employment Services Team, working with customers to deliver a range of employment and training opportunities online.

The role is full time and permanent and will be based in Manchester or Leeds with part remote and flexible working opportunities. Part-time applications and other locations in England may also be considered.

As the E-Learning Platform Manager, your role will be to take the charity's existing portfolio of employment training modules and support the adaptation of these into digital modules so they are usable on their new e-learning platform. Your role will also include creating and managing the training sessions on the new platform, managing the testing and uploading of the sessions, and identifying and creating new resources to enhance the user experience. You'll put your excellent communication skills to use by working with disabled people to test the new resources before other customers use them.

You'll need to build and maintain excellent relationships across a range of internal departments to support the coordination and delivery of the new platform as well as drive growth of the platform and the potential opportunities to grow other services for their customers.

To be considered for the role, you'll need to have recent experience in planning and creating employment related learning content with experience of Moodle or similar software. You'll need to have good project management skills and an ability to learn and work with others to ensure learning is creative and accessible, optimising the impact for their customers.

You'll stand out further from the crowd if you have good knowledge of the social model of disability but this is not essential.

In return, the charity can offer excellent benefits and flexible working opportunities. Applications from disabled people are encouraged.
