We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who required a Engagement Lead -Contract Length: Until 31/03/22 (Extension TBC), Remote for one of their public sector Clients based in UK.

Job Description:
The Real Estate and Infrastructure team is responsible for maintaining the physical location and structure of a large network of COVID-19 sites across the UK in line with government policies. The team works to mobilise regional and local test sites and demobilise these sites according to demand or necessity. The team also lead on managing and communicating issues identified at the testing sites and resolving where required as well as assisting in other, often urgent, special projects in regard to the current and future operations of the testing network.
Key responsibilities
- External Stakeholder Management (including local authorities, Service Management Pro-viders, infrastructure providers, legal).
- Internal Stakeholder Management (eg HSA and Programme Team) and lead on relation-ships with HSA regional co-ordinators for the test and trace programme.
- Overseeing identification and acquisition of all new LTS & RTS (incl engagement with LAs or private landlords to identify and agree site use) and identification of suitable infrastruc-ture and site types for new locations.
- Management of commercial and legal discussions (incl. agreement of rental amounts, dura-tion, break clauses, access requirements, enabling costs and utilities etc).
- Managing the submission of any costs for Programme Team approval (and communication of outcome).
- Ongoing management and identification of site inspections and improvements/repairs.
- Supervision and management of lease and demise amendments, layout and access changes (changing clauses or layouts, allowing temporary closures).
- Identification any potential gaps within local/team processes in terms of compliance with leases and management of lease extensions (Landlord engagement eg board approvals, GLD instruction).
- Management of demobilisation and dilapidations process (including infrastructure, legal and commercial issues).
- Supporting HSA and suppliers in ongoing estates management strategy and activities (in-cluding LTS/RTS pipeline reporting)
- Specialist advice to colleagues in the Test and Trace team on property issues, lease terms and our obligations
- Proactive risk management and working with senior team to develop early mitigation or management strategies
Essential
- Knowledge and understanding of real estate and construction sector
- Problem solving and issue resolution
- Experience of effective and robust communication with stakeholders from varied profes-sions, including legal teams, landlords, and local authorities
- Experience in lease management.
- Experience of managing multiple real estate sites or projects simultaneously
- Experience in strategy setting
- Experience of data insights analysis
- Ability to deal with complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influ-ence
- Ability to plan for long and short-term and adjust plans and resource to meet requirements
- Understanding or working knowledge of the public sector (and ideally healthcare/public health environments)
Competent in a variety of software applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power-Point
