Our mission is for the CSP to transform the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities by empowering our members and exerting our influence.
Our vision is for physiotherapy to transform lives, maximise independence and empower populations.
We are looking for two new committee members (from outside the CSP membership) for our Equity, Diversity and Belonging Committee to provide expertise, insight, support and advice to Council on strategic equity, diversity and belonging matters with recent and relevant experience and competence in equality/equity, diversity and inclusion/belonging. - considering policy decisions regarding equity, diversity and belonging issues to inform Council's overall decision making.
You can find out more information about the CSP - including our Equity, Diversity and Belonging Strategy and our corporate strategy on our website .
We positively encourage applications from people from all backgrounds and with a broad range of experience. We strive for our committee members to be as diverse as society and welcome applications from everyone, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race/ethnicity, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity. Your application will be dealt with fairly and all decisions we make about it will be based on merit and your ability to meet the competences required for the role.
You will need to complete an online application, upload your CV and a 500-word personal statement. The applications process will close on 6 January 2022, with interviews in early February. New committee members will receive an induction and take up their roles in March 2022.
