This is your opportunity to actively support the management team to meet Health, Safety and Environmental KPIs and performance objectives with the aim of improving site safety and commercial objectives.
What will you do?
The Estates and Environment Lead will help ensure our built assets and estates comply with Statutory Health & Safety Regulations to keep tenants, staff and contractors healthy and safe.
You will manage a small team of on-site estate operatives who will help ensure estates and environmental services such as waste legislation, biodiversity, conservation, pollution prevention, and mitigation are managed, and the groups' estates are maintained to high standards, which achieve safe attractive communities.
You will act as the site competent person providing professional assistance on all matters relating to health, safety, and environmental legislation and support the corporate strategy. Reporting directly to the Estates and Environment Manager you will play a key role in providing leadership within estates services. You will carry out supervisory duties for on-site operatives and contractors carrying out improvement works, including site inspections.

Duties will include the management of inspections and risk management, creation and supervision of safe working practices, and the provision of support and advice to internal teams, internal and external contractors and partners.
You will assist in the management of all works associated to Estates and Environmental control, satisfying the requirements of the design, legislative regulatory technical standards, policies and procedures.
Education to HNC/HND Building studies / Surveying or equivalent relevant subject with significant post qualification experience is essential as well as a relevant qualification, or experience, to management and leadership.
