Project Manager, Remote working, occasional european travel when able

We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Project Manager to join our global client and lead a number of exciting projects that deliver significant value to their biggest global customers. You'll be joining the Sales, Marketing and Innovation function with the primary goal of delivering solutions and strengthening partnerships between our client and their most important customers.

You will be shaping and delivering complex projects, working face-to-face with some of the biggest and most successful players in eCommerce, FMCG, retail and industrial. You will help develop new capabilities and services which will deliver core customer benefits, be a real differentiator and have the potential to be scaled globally across all their customers. It's essential that you are passionate about understanding client goals and how you can partner to add value to their business while strengthening the relationships. You'll be proactive, building strong interpersonal relationships and have exceptional ability to influence our customers decisions to gain a different perspective on what projects they need to grow further in the future.

You'll be working closely with Global Key Account Directors to shape the projects which add greatest value, building cross-regional, multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with the customers to deliver them. You'll build business cases, define KPIs and track progress, escalating issues and formulating new and improved plans to deliver benefit. You will create plans with regional teams and build networks across functions to improve performance across all of the projects under your remit.

About you
Minimum requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of delivering value through multi-faceted projects in FMCG, Retail, Industrial or E-Commerce environments
  • Previous roles in a customer-facing environment, in a global matrix organisation
  • Resilient and persuasive, with excellent communication and partnering skills
  • Excellent project delivery skills spanning both traditional and Agile approaches
  • Creative and innovative - you will be helping colleagues and customers come up with new solutions to problems
  • Commercially astute including project costs, spend management, benefits realisation and value-based pricing
Preferred requirements:
  • A second language would be advantageous
  • Project management certifications and knowledge of Agile methodologies
