Vision for Education is looking to appoint a full time EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in an small primary school in the Wynyard area. This is a fixed term supply Teaching Assistant (TA) role, which will commence in January 2022 until July 2022.
The role
Working as part of a dynamic and committed EYFS team, the Early Years Teaching Assistant will focus on delivering whole class and small group support. This role will include providing structured support outside of the classroom, whilst also providing small group intervention based support, including phonics. This will be a full-time role, working 08:15 - 15:30 each day.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and have experience working within EYFS.

This small primary school is looking for a committed and successful EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their motivated team. Within this primary school there is a high proportion of children reaching the expected levels by the end of the early years is steadily increasing. Support from the local authority and leaders' concerted action to improve the quality of teaching and the outdoor curriculum has resulted in more children making better progress.
Requirements
To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant (TA) position, you will:
• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in EYFS.
• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Ideally have experience delivering one to one support.
• Ideally have expirenece of working with children with Special Educational Needs.
