Job description
Compass life sciences are partnered exclusively with an emerging Clinical research organisation (CRO) who are looking to employ a feasibility and proposals analyst who can produce early/ late phase strategic proposals and budgets. The company is fast growing and looking for professionals in the pharmaceutical industry, with particular interest in those who have experience in clinical research. FOCUS OF THE JOB:
To facilitate the feasibility process and develop complex budgets and proposals
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Previous CRO or IMP manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial.
Experience of reviewing protocols is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in working with MS Excel.
Degree or equivalent in business or life sciences.
Excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Feasibility & RFI process
Co-ordinate the feasibility process by assessing the information required
Circulate the information as appropriate and set up teleconferences to liaise with the feasibility team
Compile the Global feasibility response for management approval to meet customer deadlines
Update the feasibility library
Review "Request for Information" (RFI) for early phase, late phase, IMP manufacturing and full service requests.
Co-ordinate the responses and prepare the completed RFI for management approval to meet customer deadlines
Update the RFI library
Proposal Development
Co-ordinate the proposal development process by assessing the "Request for Proposal" (RFP)
Set up and lead a Proposal Strategy Call (PSC) to define the study scope and strategy of the project
Prepare PSC minutes and circulate
Develop the budget to reflect the protocol and services required
Work closely with internal departments such as contracts, finance, and operations to develop a high quality proposal.
Work with third party vendors to prepare accurate costs to include in the proposal
Seek management approval outlining the risks and challenges in delivering the project
Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to track all feasibility, proposal and pipeline activity.
Co-ordinate the 'hand over' process to Project Management for awarded studies
Prepare contract 'Change Orders' to reflect a change in the study scope.
Communication and Commercial Awareness
Prepare clear and concise e-mails internally and externally in a timely manner
Maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with customers and vendors
Participate in regular meetings with colleagues and customers.

Plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
