What you will be doing
We are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to support the Retail Planning & Reporting Manager, responsibilities will include preparation of consolidated packs, timetables and communications, with strong financial controls and critical evaluation embedded in the processes.
You will own and manage relationships with the Retail and Group Finance Teams to understand and communicate the drivers of month-end performance and forward-looking views to support the achievement of targets.
You will have an understanding of cash flow performance and be able to provide insights on the overall position including risks and opportunities.

This role will give you exposure to working with senior management and strategic planning, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse business unit delivering a variety of services from residential and wholesale billing and collections to meter installations and new property development services, covering a range of accounting skills

We're looking for you to:
- Be a qualified accountant with experience in FP&A function with a proven track record in 'adding value'
- Previous system experience with SAP and HFM, as well as strong analytical, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong attention to detail, whilst being able to see the broader picture
- Significant communications experience - presenting financial analysis to senior management
- Able to multi-task and prioritise own work
- Proactive and ambitious - sets high goals for self and continuously strives to improve
