*FIRE ALARM ENGINEER - BASIC SALARY UP TO £32,000 + OVERTIME & CALL OUTS!*

Our client, who have been trading for over 30 years, are an established & very successful Fire Detection and Safety company based in the South West of England. They are looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.
* Basic Salary of £30,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience & qualifications).
* Company vehicle, fuel card & mobile phone provided.
* Working hours are Monday to Friday (37.5 hours on-site, 48 hours a week including travel time)
* Overtime available on top of your salary.
* Taking part in call outs on a rota basis.

Your role as a Fire Alarm Engineer will include:

*Role & Responsibilities: *
* The role involves carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting, including fault finding and attending to emergency call outs.
* You will produce defects and condition reports of customers' systems and equipment to enable the Operations Team to accurately price and plan remedial and repair works.
* You will provide informal advice to customers to ensure opportunities to improve fire safety are not missed, and that the basic principles of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems are understood.
* You will accurately record all activities on company software system including capturing photos and updating asset registers.
* You will cover the whole of the South West of England as well as across the country when required therefore you should be prepared to travel.

*The Ideal Person: *
* You will have at least 3 years experience in the Fire Industry.
* Somebody who has a passion for the trade and is a problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent customer communication skills, a team player with a can-do attitude.
* Knowledge of BS5839 & BS5266.
* FIA/ BAFE/ IFEDA Accreditation (training provided for the right candidate).
* You should be able to manage own work and exhibit the companies vision and values.
* Ideally you will be multi disciplined in the fire industry from service, small works, fault-finding and maintenance.
* Knowledge of Morley, C-Tec, Advanced. Notifier, Kentec and Protec equipment is desirable.
* You will hold a Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent and be flexible to travel.
