Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a dedicated and passionate Head of Drama Teacher, looking for a new opportunity in a large academy in Tameside?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Head of Drama Teacher, to join a large secondary academy, to start in January 2022. This is a full time, long term position for a vacancy within the department and could lead to a permanent contract. The position will pay up to £210 a day, dependent on experience.

To join us and be successful in this Head of Drama role, you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or QTLS
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Have a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting on behalf of a large and well-established community school, which caters for students from 11 -16 years old. The school is led by a supportive SLT and has recently started delivering GCSE Drama to the current Year 10 cohort and so the role allows the opportunity to really shape the direction of the department..

The role itself will involve the delivery of Head of Drama lessons to students in KS3 - KS4, including curriculum development and creation of schemes of work. You will be delivering a full timetable and ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge, a proven track record of good GCSE results and ensure the lessons you deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches.
