Whether it's a colleague, customer or client we want everyone to have a great experience.As Head of Strategic Asset Management you will work in partnership with the wider business to develop and drive positive practice in asset management and investment programming across the Places for People portfolio.You will lead the development of programmes to balance the delivery of strategic asset management plans including the delivery of 'What Good Assets look like', address immediate portfolio priorities, driving operational efficiency and value for money.You will work in partnership with Places Management to track progress and ensure programmes are on target to achieve desired outcomes.Please note that interviews for this post are likely to take place on the 16th December 2021.For more information please download our job profile available on our website.More about youYou will have experience working in a strategic role in a property/real estate environment with proven knowledge and experience developing asset investment plans and programmes, to deliver targeted improvements to asset portfolios. Furthermore you will have the ability to develop programmes and contribute to procurement strategies to ensure that best value is realised in contracting arrangements; an extension of this is having awareness of statutory and regulatory requirements in a social housing context with the skills to monitor and report effectively.You will possess a clear commitment and awareness of data management principles with experiencing developing on-site and desktop exercises to improve the quality and completeness of data sets. You will have experience managing stock condition surveys, specialist property surveys and associated data and information, and construction project management to drive investment and activity programmes.You will be a skilled communicator with a proven ability to develop key relationships and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, utilising feedback to effectively shape strategic and operational outcomes. Due to the intricacies of the role and the current landscape you will have an awareness of asset sustainability, efficiency and zero carbon and proven experience embedding into an investment and improvement plan.
