Internal Business Development Manager
UK Home Based
£26K - £35K + 40% bonus

A global organisation has is looking for an Internal Business Development Manager to join their business due to their rapidly growing business. You will be expected to drive growth with both new and existing customers by selling the business's Secure Power Products and Services.
You will be building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within your customer base and the wider Business. You will understand the IT reseller market and/or understand a specific segment of customers, including the drivers in that market segment.
You will drive the APC business through consultative value selling into that segment/channel to enable development of low spending and new customers. You will be trained to understand a complex portfolio of customers and assess the opportunities for a large business with multiple product offerings.

Key responsibilities

Work within a team focused on driving growth for the Secure Power business via channels, Electrical and IT Channel, defined market segments (verticals) including Cloud & Service Providers. Execute our line of business strategy and sell our product offering to achieve a defined sales number.
Develop and implement a strategic portfolio plan to deliver both short term tactical sales and long-term strategic opportunities for overall growth of accounts.
Responsible for identifying new opportunities in both new and existing accounts to foster winning relationships.
Consult with customers to sell core IT offers with additional software and service-related opportunities.
Responsible for the end-to-end sales process to identify and win high value opportunities whilst leveraging the support of the wider in order to ensure maximize width of wallet and effective solution selling.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate sales forecasting to support order management and business objectives.
Win profitable business and endeavor to beat competition. Ensuring that valuable information and insight is received from the customer on sales and competition in the account in order to negotiate and close complex sales opportunities.
Support regular sales campaigns and marketing initiatives. Responsible for accurate customer information and records on the company CRM system, including platforming accounts and recording activities with customers.
Utilising digital tools and a 'virtual' mindset to generate demand and customer engagement

Qualifications - External

A-Levels or Equivalent
Strong computer and communication skills - including Digital skills
Either employment in a professional environment for at least 3 years or University
