Internal Communications Executive - FTC until March 2022

Independent safety regulator is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Executive to support their Communications team at their London offices.

This is a fixed term contract until March 2022 and will pay £29,221 pro rota. This is hybrid working role and will require 2 days of office working.
The Internal Communications Executive will support the internal communications team and wider directorate in a range of activities, in particular their staff conference in March 2022. Duties include:

• Supporting the internal communications team to deliver an all-staff conference in March 2022.
• Contributing to organisation, administration, and delivery of internal activities, as well as taking a part in the delivery of a range of in person and virtual events.
• Working closely with the team to produce written content and graphics for digital channels - e-newsletter, digital screens, and intranet.
• Producing and managing content on intranet, including noticeboard, news items and reviewing pages with content owners.
• Supporting internal communications team to make improvements to the intranet - including enhancing the search functionality and tagging of content.
• Using analytics to produce regular reports on intranet usage and behaviours
• Supporting the admin requirements of the team and the wider directorate as needed - such as updating of new starters information, keeping the events calendar up to date, managing the generic email inbox.

• Previous experience of working in a similar internal communications role
• Experience of using a CMS system to update content
• Supporting large scale events (100+ people)
• Have excellent communication skills and be adept at engaging with a diverse range of audiences
• Clear concise written English
