Job description

Role Purpose:

To grow the revenue stream within your Key account portfolio through the sale of all Group portfolio products (consumables, equipment service packages, capital equipment, membership/compliance services and repairs) by presenting the best possible solution to customers.

Key Skills:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Sell all Group portfolio products to existing customers
Establish new revenue streams within your designated target Key accounts
Carry out objective based appointments with prospective and current customers, ensuring detailed and coherent records are kept on CRM
Project manage all leads on behalf of the customer, working with relevant Group Key Stakeholders
Work collaboratively with all Group Portfolio product specialists to present multiple solutions to customers
Communicate effectively and efficiently with all Group Key Stakeholders to ensure an exceptional customer experience is provided throughout the customer purchasing process
Build solid working relationships with customers by providing expert knowledge and guidance
Working in conjunction with the customer services team, provide exceptional field-based customer service and support
Achieve all set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achieve agreed portfolio growth by the retention of current consumables business, supported by the acquisition of new consumables, ensuring that the company website is the focal point for all sales
Build a fluid portfolio business plan which can be presented as and when required to senior team members
Build relationships with key influencers regionally and nationally
Work collaboratively with marketing to ensure the marketing strategy is implemented in the field
Maintain a consistently growing knowledge of all products and services available to dental practices to provide up to date and relevant advice
Build relationships with key manufacturer partners by regular meetings and objective led dual calling
Identify and develop relationships with local organisations and committees and, where relevant, attend seminars and events to raise the profile of the company

Standard Company Requirements:

To comply with all Health and Safety requirements as outlined by the Health and Safety Executive.
To comply with the guidelines of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to maintain an awareness and understanding of regulations that apply to the post.
Where the role includes any task relating to the purchasing, storage or sales of medicines, an understanding of the principles of Good Distribution Practice is required.
To ensure PPE issued by the business is worn in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.
Training is undertaken as recommended by your Manager.
The ability to work away from home on territory, 1 or more nights per week.
Carry out any other reasonable request as requested by your Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

Skills Required:

Ability to provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a consistently professional manner.
Extensive experience in sales, driven by an ability to be consultative.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages, including excel, word and outlook

Experience Required:

Extensive sales experience.
A solid working knowledge of medical, pharmaceutical or dentistry industries
A driving licence is essential

Qualifications Required:

5 GCSEs, including Maths and English
