The dedicated team handle property damage, employer's liability, public liability, personal accident, legal expenses and home emergency claims. They have delegated authority limits up to £250,000, handling claims up to £10,000 at the desk.We are seeking individuals with either previous insurance knowledge or a background in Customer Service to work as Liability Claims Technicians.Youll be dealing with Employers Liability, Public Liability and property damage claims on behalf of the panel insurers using your skills and experience to manage your own desk-top caseload, making informed decisions as well as using empathy and understanding to assess each claim on its individual merits, and taking your caseload through to settlement, aiding customers, third parties and clients.As a Liability Claims Technician, youll have the ability to identify suspicious information and apply correct procedures to avoid fraudulent claims, identify and evaluate evidence. Additionally, youll answer routine correspondence, deal with incoming calls, issue client updates and maintain diary processes to a high standard.Many of our colleagues now benefit from working flexibly between the office and home, which helps support a healthy work/life balance.
