As a Display Advertising Manager, your activities' focus is on the support and continuous development of our international remarketing and prospecting campaigns using different vendors including social media platforms, but also ad spaces on our own websites. Depending on the target group, you optimize for different KPIs, from maximizing the reach of our content portals to optimizing the sales of our e-commerce stores.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Display Network, Criteo, Facebook, Twitter, and possibly other platforms
- Management and distribution of internal banner ad placements on our own platforms
- Maintain and monitor bids, account daily and monthly budgeting, reach, CTRs and other important account metrics
- Manage the creation of target audiences
- Provide creative ad copy suggestions
- Regularly update with the account managers of our major vendors, gather new ideas, critically evaluate their suggestions
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for targeting opportunities, campaign structuring, bid strategies and other facets of display in accordance with the respective goals
- Understand and manage and review technical setup of ad accounts (e.g. tags, product feeds, GA linking, etc.)
- Work closely with data (and SEA, affiliate) teams to create and improve product feeds
- Provide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other display initiatives
- Keep pace with display and online marketing industry trends and developments
- Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with our goals
- Monitor and evaluate campaign results across the major display channels
- Run tests (e.g. ad copy, audiences, etc.) and analyze the respective performance, makes suggestions based on these findings
- Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
Experience requirements
- Solid experience in display marketing
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
- Experience working with popular display vendors and paid social platforms (Google Display Network, Criteo, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- BS/BA degree preferred
Skills
- Proficiency in managing moderate to large scale display accounts in a variety of different business verticals
- Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Customer centricity and excellent communication skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including understanding of tone of voice
- The mind-set to learn new tools and approaches and the ability to quickly apply this knowledge to our display efforts
- Experience with product feeds is a plus
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken; German is a plus
