*What will you be doing?*
The Manager of Resourcing will be responsible for strategic planning, assignment and tracking of Product Registration staff across existing and new projects.
* Assesses resources and resource projections to ensure that project teams have appropriate staffing to ensure successful deliverables.
* Develops plans aiming for optimal resource usage throughout the life of the project
* Forecasts future staffing capacity, demands and gaps
* Determines level and type of employee resources to meet corporate/client/project objectives
* Identifies and assigns appropriate staff to meet project needs
* Maintain communication with GPs/DPDs and FMs
* Assignment and tracking of Product Registration staff across proposed, new and existing projects. This includes emphasis on:
* Operating with transparency and clear communication.
* Assesses employee resources and employee resource projections to ensure that project teams meet client expectations and PRA contractual obligations.
* Support Business Development through rapid RFP resource request fulfillment, including:
* Understanding sponsor requirements and expectations.
* Building scenarios to match resource availability with future staffing needs.
* Building dynamic cross-functional teams to enhance the probability of project award
* Building high performing cross-functional teams.
* Managing assignments to enhance career development and employee engagement and retention
* Communicates with project teams and Functional Managers to evaluate ongoing resource requirements and utilization; keeping apprised of study status in order to optimize resource allocation
* Conduct continuous workforce / workload analyses to achieve an appropriate balance (e.g. resource availability versus incoming work) and assess future staffing needs (e.g. workload ratios, recruiting needs, etc.).
* Interfaces with staff across PRA business units, providing input and feedback to promote quality deliverables
* Act as Data Custodian, create, maintain, and use data to support the department's operation and its information needs as it pertained to the resource process and rationalizes gaps, overlaps and issues that related to the data required
* Communicate with project teams and operational leaders on resource matters
* Respond to internal and external information requests
* Support customers to resolve resourcing issues, ensuring understanding of expectations and processes
* Collaborates with key project stakeholders to manage resources across programs to maximize client knowledge and succession planning.
* Act as liaison to management team and operational departments to establish resourcing processes.
* Provide input on designing and revision of forms and reports
*What do you need to have?*
Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent * or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key responsibilities of the job.
* Substantial experience using computerized information systems including experience with PC-Windows, word processing and electronic spreadsheets required.
* Thorough knowledge of ICH and local regulatory authority regulations regarding drug research and development is required.
* Excellent written, oral communication skills and presentations skills.
* Good negotiation, analytical and organizational skills.
* Read, write, and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language.
* Experience with resource management tools preferred.
* Clinical trials support of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
