Material Handler

£10.00 per hour plus overtime of £15.00 and £20.00 Plus very good benefits

Material Handler hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 6pm full time hours (Overtime available on Fridays)

The Materials Handler will be:

•Replenish bin stock on the lines
•Decanting/unboxing incoming goods
•Preparing parts for production
•Locate Stock in Warehouse
•Removing waste packaging and recycling
•Ordering parts with suppliers by raising electronic orders
•Help to set Kanban levels to support operations requirements
•Return packaging to suppliers
•Answering Andon button when production line need parts taking to them
•Chasing suppliers for undelivered Kanban orders
•Checking work to list for spikes and abnormal demand
•5S - Ensure all stock is clearly marked to PFEP (Plan for every part) principles
•Carry out routine inventory counts and drive to root cause to counter-measures to prevent re-occurrence.
•QDIP report-out for Inventory metrics, taking responsibility for the communication of all issues pertaining to production continuity, driving to root cause to counter-measures to prevent re-occurrence.
•Liaise with the materials team to ensure materials meet the demand for production
