Cambridge/Newmarket/Bury St Edmunds area
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm OR 8.30am - 5.30pm
Salary - Up to £15.50ph

We are searching for a talented HGV Technician for our clients Mobile HGV Technician vacancy in the Cambridgeshire area. you will be provided with a Stocked van and full uniform. The Mobile HGV technician that secures the role will be someone comfortable working remotely with a diverse skill set and HGV Experience.

My client is a National Commercial Vehicle organisation who have a first class history in providing their clients with a "Full Life Cycle" of services on a national basis.

We are looking for a fully qualified HGV Technician to do the full remit of duties including vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair both in a mobile capacity and on occasion in the workshop, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the clients' vehicle is demobilised for the minimum amount of time

Your remit will be to ensure that all repairs are fulfilled to DVSA/ VOSA Legislation standards and other duties may include:
Vehicle Servicing
Fault Finding - using high tech Diagnostic Equipment
An understanding of electronics and hydraulics
Repairs - these and include repairs to Mechanical and Ancillary equipment, Hydraulics, chassis and Bodywork, making sure that the repairs are done efficiently and cost effectively
LOLER Examinations
MOT Preparation
Vehicle Inspections
Willing to travel considerable distances on occasion and willing to work overtime
Good customer service ethos and presents a professional image
Completion of all relevant paperwork ensuring that all work is Compliant

The successful applicants must be qualified to City and Guilds Level 3 standard (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or have served a relevant Apprenticeship
A full UK Driving is required.

The hours of work are as follows: Mon - Fri, 45 hours per week.
