Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Services Occupational Therapist to work based in Milton Keynes, within the Adaptations Team.

The pay rate for this locum Social Services Occupational Therapist job is £34 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 1-month ongoing contract.

Main Duties:

To work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team in order to identify and respond to the social care needs of residents, enabling them to live as independently as possible within their communities by providing suitable occupational therapy services.
Visit eligible individuals in their homes to assess their current level of functional ability and to make recommendations to maintain/improve independence and quality of life. Interventions will include advice, the provision of assistive equipment and/or the provision of adaptations to the home.
Ensure that support plans are developed and implemented that ensures the residents safety, well-being, and independence in order to lead a fulfilled life.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team and other services within Milton Keynes Council, as well as outside agencies to achieve successful outcomes for the resident.

Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:

Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
Recent post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle.
