Job description

About RiskRisk isn't going to disappear and the complex, ever changing environment makes it much harder to predict where new challenges will come from. But it represents an opportunity for businesses to transform and innovate, and discover hidden value. From the boardroom to back office, we work to protect and strengthen every aspect of business; from people to performance, systems to strategy. Through our invaluable insights and independent assurance we help discover and unlock real value. There is a huge amount of business change caused by disruption, including technology, regulation, or a factor in the broader environment such as Brexit and that gives rise to risk and uncertainty. Helping our clients identify and address those risks to give them and their stakeholders confidence in their business is the purpose of our new Risk Assurance Line of Service. As a business, we have been providing services related to risk within our wider Assurance practice. On 1 July 2020, we established this new Line of Service to better use the scale and breadth of our practice including many of the firm's experts in areas such as regulation, cyber security, listings, actuarial, accounting, controls and internal audit.About Tech, Data & Analytics (TD&A)Technology, Data & Analytics brings together our technology and data capabilities, giving us a more compelling way ofgoing to market as we work together to integrate our solutions to solve our clients' problems. Here we accelerated our ability to innovate and develop new types of services for our clients - whilst maintaining the identity and market leading capabilities of data, technology and analytics.

The role
Our Risk (Technology, Data & Analytics) practice is looking to recruit exceptional individuals with extensive experience in Oracle ERP technology and related processes. As a Senior Manager within our Technology Data & Analytics business, you'll work with the latest technologies, and iconic companies on projects that are driving the future of those organisations. Our Managers are expected to lead client engagements, create new opportunities and contribute to the development of our people.

The Technology, Data & Analytics team within our Risk practice represents a strategic priority for PwC due to the increasing demand from organisations to manage technology risk and optimise risk and control management through technology, particularly with the maturity of Cloud technologies such as Oracle Cloud ERP.

Being mobile is essential as you'll work on client projects that could be anywhere in the country - or even the world. The same goes for your skill set - intellectually curious, dynamic and the ability to challenge the traditional approaches to deliver real transformation. Ultimately, an open mind to take advantage of all of the opportunities on offer is essential. As part of PwC's Risk practice, we have the privilege of acting as trusted advisors to a diverse and expansive client base, spanning multiple geographies and industries.

This means that we have a real opportunity to enhance and refine our clients' businesses from a risk perspective through the use of ever evolving technology. Of course, this will only be possible if we have the right people, with the right skills and the ability to push the boundaries of how new technologies
can support future business models.

That's where you come in. As an Oracle Risk & Controls Manager, you will blend a breadth of functional and technical knowledge and experience with a risk mindset and creativity to develop ideas into solutions.
