Salary from £23,178 up to £28,162 upon completion of probation
Rotational Shifts Monday - Friday
Temp to perm
An opportunity has arisen for a Paint Assembly Operative to join a leading manufacturing company in South Liverpool. The focus of the position will be to prepare parts and assemblies for painting and polishing as a key part of the manufacturing process.
On offer is a basic salary of £23,1798 + Shift Allowance increasing to £24,660 + Shift Allowance.
Hours of work will be on rotational shifts Monday to Friday.
The role is offered initially on a temporary to permanent basis.

The main duties of a Paint Assembly Operative are;
- Work with instructions and orders from management
- Preparing parts and assemblies for the painting and polishing process
- Mixing of various paints and materials in accordance with the specification
- Maintain, monitor and clean equipment - uses of solvents, heads and cloths
- Use heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purposes finishes
- Identifying of non-conforming parts - quality control
- Keep work area clean and tidy
- Adhere to onsite health & safety regulations
- Experience using polishing and spraying painting tools
- Experience using pressure pots, spray guns, hoses, nozzles and gauges
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- Understand and appreciate health & safety in a manufacturing environment
- A BTEC or City & Guilds qualification in vehicle technology or paint maintenance/operations would be an advantage though not essential
